Natural Hair: This is Why Type 4, Kinky Hair is Beautiful

Hey Curlies,

Looking for a little natural hair inspiration? I speak about hair discrimination in the natural hair community often and I strive for ClassyCurlies to represent those women with Type 4, kinky, curly hair.

Many times the women who are most popular in the natural hair community have a looser curl pattern that is usually referred to as "good hair." I talk more about this in an episode of Curly Conversations.

Every photo you'll see below is me and my hair in a work in progress. It has taken me seven years to grow my hair this long and I've enjoyed every bit of this journey.

SWIPE --> I always hear: "I can't wait until my hair gets that long." . I didn't start here. This is 7 years in the making. Enjoy the journey.
