I'm here really quick to show you the results of how I stretched my hair using African threading. To see how it's done, click here for part one and part two.
I left the thread in overnight but in total, it stayed in about 12 hours. I began on damp hair.
The slight wave pattern you see in the photo above is from wearing two large two-strand twists. I took the thread out in the morning before going to work and needed to do something with my hair, so I wore it like this.
That evening I used Urbanaire Gypsy's Pomade to create jumbo twists (took about 30 minutes). I've been wearing those in a "wrapped" style for the past two days.
