There are many of you out there who are biological moms, play the role of a mom, a new mom or those who have adopted children into their family and I just want to say thank you for the significant role you play in a child's (and eventually an adult's) life. Women are the glue that holds families together, the bread winners in many households today and everything else in between, so again, thank you!
My mother has played a tremendous influence in my life (I post photos of her every now and then) and if I were in the same city as her, she would be on here much more often (I'm originally from Cleveland, OH). Although we're in neighboring states, there's no words to express how much I truly adore her. In many ways we're different but in several ways we are the exact same. I've learned by watching her, listening to her blunt remarks when needed, knowing I'm going to get the truth if I ask (and maybe taking it with a grain of salt...lol) and most of all how to be a strong woman in today's society. So...thanks mom!
