4 Holiday Gifts for the Naturalista in your Life

Hey Curlies,

The holidays are right around the corner and some stores and online shops are having some of their biggest sales of the year. You may be wondering what kind of gift to buy for the naturalista in your life. If she is really into learning more about her natural hair or looking to try new products, I have just the gifts for her.

Following are a few gifts you may consider:

Aunt Jackie’s Curls & Coils Flaxseed Collection
This is the newest product line from Aunt Jackie’s and I’m pretty curious about it myself. The system, comprised of eight products, is said to be for all hair types and includes a cowash, conditioning masque, hair milk, hair butter, hair oil, flaxseed gel, curl whip and smoothing gel. I haven’t gotten a chance to try this line, but I have tried their original detangler, which was awesome!

Shea Moisture Hair Color
If your naturalista has been thinking about changing up their hair color, you may want to look into Shea Moisture’s Hair Color line. Customers have 12 shades to choose from including chestnut brown, bight auburn and golden blonde. I’ve used this system once previously to color my mother’s hair and it worked very well.

D.I.Y. Hair Kit
Every curly girl is constantly in need of basic hair items. I’m not sure if these items (bobby pins, hair pins, hair ties, etc.) get up and walk away during the night or what, but their always missing. If you’re looking to throw something together pretty quickly, try packing hair pins, detangle brushes, wide-toothed combs and hair ties into a decorative bag. I’m sure she will definitely appreciate it!

Fulfill her Wishlist
It doesn’t get any better than simply asking someone what type of gift they would like. It makes the shopping process much easier. Has she had her eye on a more expensive hair tool such as Huetiful Hair Steamer or a Q-Redew Hair Steamer? Maybe she’s had her eye on some of the lower-priced items like Curlformers or SSS Plates. Do some research and find out. Many of these places may also have bundles and holiday discounts available.
