Hey Curlies,
I've got a few secrets to achieve your best braid out. I have been extremely busy this past week with work and spending time with my family. I got around to washing my hair on Friday. I wanted to do a more complex style but since it was blazing outside, seriously 90 degrees, I just went for a braid out. All last week I wore a puff.
I detangled using TRESemme Naturals conditioner and washed using Shea Moisture's Jamaican Black Castor Oil shampoo and then added my conditioner in later once I began braiding as a leave in.
I created about eight to nine braids using TRESemme Naturals conditioner and Shea Moisture's Jamaican Black Castor Oil Hair Serum.
I let my braids dry over night and unbraided the next afternoon. It turned out a little differently than I thought but it was cute!
Here's the secret to a great braidout: Detangle thoroughly before braiding. This helps the unbraiding process run smoothly and when separating your pieces, it cuts down on frizz! I like to start with a wide-toothed comb then go again with a Denman brush. Remember to be gentle!
