How long have you been natural?:
I have been fully natural for two and a half years now - having transitioned for seven months.

Why did you go natural?:
Can I take this moment to be honest? I transitioned because I was trying to put my hair stylist out of business lol - just kidding. No, but seriously I was just so tired of feeling like I'd just paid someone to butcher my hair. In my mind, I could do the same piss-poor job for free.

A short regimen you can share:
My regimen is so minimal, most people say they "don't get it"....as if I'm purposefully leaving something out.
I co-wash with V05 conditioner, detangle using Herbal Essences Hello Hydration conditioner, and seal with Olive oil.

What are some of your favorite products?:
My favorite products are the only three items I use - V05, Hello Hydration conditioner, and Olive oil. It hasn't gotten any better than that.

What are some of your favorite styles?:
My all-time favorite hairstyle isn't what most would consider a "style" at all. Right after a wash I'll let my hair air-dry completely. Most of the time I just throw my hair into a wet ponytail - just as long as it dries all the way. Once it dries (and if I need to go somewhere) I just take my hair out of the ponytail, fluff, and go.

For a little pizzazz I might create a headband braid in the front or just grab a piece of my hair from the front and pin it back. But, that's it.

What is your most favorite and least thing about being natural?:
My favorite thing about being natural is being able to walk around with half-defined curls and still get compliments, looks, and pulled into random conversations. It's so freeing to be able to rock my frizz with confidence. And NOTHING beats that feeling I get when my hair starts blowing around in the wind lol. Call me corny!

My least favorite thing is shrinkage. I'm glad that it's finally trying to creep past my shoulders in it's natural state, but I just wish (JUST ONCE!) that my hair would "look" as long as it actually is. *sigh*

What is one piece of advice that all women should have(pertaining to confidence)?:
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

What natural hair bloggers/vloggers inspire you?:
Shelli from Hairscapades and Chime Edwards. I have the worst hair-crush on them!

Do you have any advice on going natural?:
Don't take yourself too seriously and keep your mind busy by doing other things because the time is going to pass at the same pace anyway - whether you count down the seconds or not. You might as well make life easier on yourself and have fun with it.
