Natural Hair: How to get the Wash n Go "Look"

Hey Curlies,

Yesterday I posted a few photos on my Facebook page about my wash n go "look." I say this with quotes because it is not really a wash n go. It is more of a wash, twist n go look. I have been curious about how a wash n go would turn out on my hair, but it's February and the middle of winter. Instead, I have another simple routine that gives very similar results.

Here is my process:

Cowashed using As I Am Coconut Cowashing
Conditioned with TRESemme Naturals Conditioner
Detangled using Aunt Jackie's Knot on my Watch
Created 8-10 two strand twists
Apply Grapeseed oil over twists
Tie down hair with scarf and go to bed.

The next morning, my hair was slightly damp when I untwisted. Normally when I untwist I do not fluff. With this method, once all twists are out, separate the sections for a fuller look. The difference is that I did not allow my hair to dry completely. With this method, I gained definition, but not in all places. Here were the results.

It turned out really cute. How do you wear your wash n gos?
