Marley Bun on Natural Hair

Hey Curlies,

Last night I washed, conditioned and deep conditioned and I had no idea what to do with my hair. I remember a few weeks ago I went to Sally's to buy a pack of marley hair. I bought the hair (brand: Vienna) for $7.99 in the 1B color.

I kind of forgot that I had it and figured this would be the perfect time to try this style. I decided to style the front using tuck and roll twists because I didn't want my edges to be pulled extremely tight with the slicking back of the bun. So last night after completing my wash routine, I used small amounts of aloe vera gel and a generous amount of Kinky Curly Knot Today detangler and leave-in conditioner.

I styled the front, twisted the ends of the front and braided the back to air dry. I knew that the back of my hair would not be dry because I started my hair at 9 at night  (never again!), so I knew that I was going to deal with some frizz the next morning. So the following morning I got this:

Sleek edges, but fizzy back section- I'm looking kind of sleep eh? lol

You can see where I twisted and the still damp braid-out mess lol
The weather was about 35 degrees and raining today and I didn't want to risk getting sick, so I tried the bun and got this:

I really LOVED the results. I will definitely keep this in as long as I can. Some of the products I used to wash are:
