If you are not into social media maybe you have or maybe your haven't heard about National Natural Hair Meetup Day. This event falls on Saturday May 19,2012 and celebrates naturalistas everywhere!
Natural hair groups in each city will gather and celebrate natural hair by hosting parties, giveaways and activities. To find a city near you that is participating in this national event, click here.
You all may know that I spend majority of my time near Indianapolis because that is where I go to school, but I will not be attending their event, I will be in Toledo, Ohio for the event. To find more information out about the NNHMD Indianapolis event visit their Facebook page or Meetup site.
While attending the NNHMD Toledo event, I will be speaking and hosting a giveaway so I encourage you all to come out and support if you can. Here is more information about the Toledo event. If not, I just encourage you to participate in any of the NNHMD events happening around the nation.
